Would really, really love to hear from anyone with insight into this program.

My situation: I just graduated with my MSA. I’ve got a public accounting job lined up but with a pretty substantial gap (I may be able to start in June, otherwise it’s early September). I’m trying to find part time/full time work for the interim while wrapping up the CPAs.

I know Account temps is pretty shitty and I’ve heard tons of horror stories. However, a woman from the “Salaried Professional Services” Robert Half program contacted me today. Apparently, you are on salary if you join their program, accrue PTO, and get holidays off. The trade off is that you must take all assignments they give you. You do get paid for “bench time” while not on assignment, although I’m sure they do their best to keep that to a minimum.

I’ve scoured the web and found surprisingly few legitimate reviews about this program. Does anyone have any insight into this? Normally I would just go for it, but it looks like I’ll getting a offer for a temporary gig (part time) from another place in the next few days and I don’t want to pass it up if this Robert Half SPS program is scammy.
