I was told that I could do that and I have been working at my place for three years now(public company). I want to ask them to sign my experience since I am not sure when I will switch job.

    I am located in CA.

I'm sure it doesn't matter whether you get your experience first or pass your exams first since you need both anyways to get the license. Get it signed when you can!

Are you sure we are able to get them signed before completing?

Oklahoma won't even give you the form until they receive official notice from NASBA (initial score release didn't even count.)

    B - 11/11/16
    A - 4/16/16 87!!
    R - 2/17/17
    F - 7/26/16 - Waiting for 8/23

@mooseonloose, not exactly sure.Hence I want to see if people have done this on here. As I asked this similar question on Ipassedthecpaexam.com and the blogger told me yes. But I think the form is useless unless we pass anyways.

Only thing I worry about is, if I let my director/controller sign now(need two signatures), they will think that I am planning to jump ship soon and they might hesitate to do it.

I am planning on leaving this job, so I want my experience form signed before I leave. I sent Nasba emailing asking them, hopefully I will get a reply, I will let you know. I am not sure if every state varies.

I'm pretty sure this is a state to state issue. You should contact your state board. Here in CA, you can download the forms and have them signed off at any time. They will hold on to all documents until you have everything finished, doesn't really matter when you do each item.

Just got a written response from the CBA.

    Dear CPA Candidate,

In response to your email, your supervisor can complete and mail in the Certificate of General Accounting Experience form before you submit an application for licensure. We will file the document under your last name and pull it when we do receive your application.

Should you desire further assistance, please contact the CBA Initial Licensing Unit by phone at (916) 561-1701 or by email at licensinginfo@cba.ca.gov.

I guess depending on what state you live in. I believe many states like Virginia board has the experience form online to be printed whenever. You could save it then turn it in whenever you are done with exam.

I received an email, “Yes, you may submit the Form 4B before taking the exams. Exam scores are needed before you can be reviewed for licensure.” This is for NY

I actually had my boss fill out the form after exactly 1yr and 1 day because my past experience with working with managers with CPAs in other companies they usually haul ass right up to the 1 year anniversary so didn't want to take any chances and had him complete it.
