Getting an interview with an accounting firm via referral?

I recently got an interview with an accounting firm through a referral from my professor at my university. If this is the case, should I mention anything about who referred me to this position during the interview? Or should I leave references out of the conversation? Should I mention anything about the referral at all in any stage of the interview process (post-interview) to leverage my chances of getting an offer ?

I wouldn't bring it up unless they ask, it's not really a huge deal anyways..if you're qualified and get along with the interviewers you have a good shot

On an interview, GENERALLY the less you say the better. Obviously everything is better in moderation but you never know what you can say that can work against you. You got the interview already through this referral, I don't know that mentioning the name will do much more for you at this point.
