First time Internship?

    I recently graduated this August and chilled for about a good half year (and studying for CPA)

    and will be starting internship this Fall. I haven’t worked for six months and this is my first accounting internship ever.

    I don’t know what to expect. It will be for auditing and tax and I only have the textbook knowledge.

    Can you guys share your internship experiences or any valuable tips?

    They won't expect you to know anything. Before my internship I was all stressed out that I had no idea what I was doing, and so will every other intern. They will teach you so much and you will learn more during you internship than you did in school (at least I did).

    The best thing you can do is show up with a positive attitude. Be yourself and work hard. In my experience if you work hard and have a possible attitude you will learn so much and you will most likely end up with a full time offer before it is all said and done!

    Just worry about you CPA studying until then, don't even think about what you should know before you start.
