I started my first gig in public accounting as an auditor this week. I’ve been out of school for 4 years and my prior work experience had absolutely no value in preparing me for this. I feel very behind compared to everyone else and feel like the material is not coming natural to me as it is expected to be.
The training is basically recreating workpapers from a past audit with very little direction. Am I in over my head? I’ve always been sure of my self and confident in my abilities but its only been a week and I’m freaking out. Is this normal?

Now what the hell do I do?
