Hi all, I am new to the community. I am curious about finding a job at public accounting firms. I want to work in audit. I have been working as a staff accountant for a private multicompany for about 10 months (graduated last year). I am recently working with external auditors who are auditing my company. Is it a good chance If I apply a job as audit staff at this firm after I pass CPA? I just think that they have seen my work performance and I get along with them well. I don’t know if CPA firms consider male more than female to work in audit.

I honestly don’t know much about qualifications that CPA firms look for. But what I have seen is most auditors have outstanding work experiences before getting in CPA firms. Please give me some advise!

I hope I pass CPA by end of this year and I will be looking an audit job next year. I want to have 2 years experience before moving on to CPA firms.
