I am a recent spring graduate who did not have much luck last year with getting a job. I did two tax seasons interning at a local CPA firm who decided they were not going to hire anyone due to overstaffment. I live in northwest Montana so there are not a whole lot of jobs here and no Big 4 located here. It seems as if every job opening I find here is looking for someone with at least 7 to 10 years of experience. I realize fall is the recruiting season. Can you still partake in the recruitment process if you are a non-student? I guess my husband and I are willing to move even though we do not really want to. Or do any of you have any suggestions or advice on finding a job where most of the firms are looking for someone with experience? How do I get experience if most are looking for someone with experience? This process is frustrating. I chose a degree that I could actually do something with and find a job with and I am having no such luck.
