I haven’t worked in a true CPA firm yet, but I have had bookkeeping positions. I have a MAcct and I am almost done with my CPA exams. I am planning on securing a job for the beginning of the year to satisfy the one year experience requirement for licensure. Did everyone get paid for their year of experience? If usually paid, does anyone have a range or a minimum that I should consider for pay?
I have no basis to go off of and I don’t want to look like a complete idiot or get taken advantage of. Knowing that I have to get the experience to get licensed, I feel like firms can really use that to their advantage.
Any information helps…this is all new to me! Thanks!
