So I’m starting in public accounting (audit) in September. It’s been a week since I passed my last exam. Here’s the problem I’m having. I BARELY know how to use Excel!!! I know this is necessary for work. In school I didn’t have exposure to it in every class. And in the classes I did I always got by with asking for help or working in groups. Now I feel it’s coming back to haunt me lol. I checked my city library and the neighboring cities library none have classes available in the summer. I also suck at using WORD. Not sure how applicable that will be in my job. Should I take a computer class at community college? Should I start googling/youtubing random stuff? Should I buy an excel software course (saw some on groupon)? What do you guys suggest? The last thing I want to do is embarrass myself or get fired because I don’t know how to use these programs.
