I’m an early bird and prefer arriving at work early so that I can end work at a decent time and because I think better in the morning as opposed to later in the evening or afternoon. For those of you who work in public accounting, is it usually possible to arrive super-early (6:30 or 7 am) and leave by a decent time, such as, 6 pm? Thank you for your advice.

From my experience, as a staff you leave when your senior leaves. Once you're a senior, you leave when the manager leaves. You get the point. Now in the summer, when it slows down, you can get more flexible with you're hours but its dependent on your senior/manager.

It all depends on your position, responsibilities, and how the company is structured…
