Just curious, but has anyone ever e-mailed their resume & cover letter to a firm without them asking for it? Or do you go the traditional route and send it in via postal mail & on good professional paper? I was just wondering. Some firms have websites with their career opportunities and provide email links, but some do not say if you should send your info there or not. I was just curious. Thanks!

I got my current job by emailing them my resume. They had posted on my school's job board but I didn't meet one of the requirements for me to apply but I still thought I was a good fit so I just emailed them.
