I got a DUI almost a year ago. I quit my job because of it and passed the CPA exam in the past year. I left my job because I could only drive to and from work for a year. My family lives a few hundred miles from where i worked and my grandma was dying from cancer. I also have 3 years experience in public accounting. I also got a open container ticket 7 years ago in college. I get my license back in a month and I’m starting to look for a job. Has anyone else on here dealt with this before? Will anyone be willing to hire me or is my professional career over? I also realize it was stupid and dangerous, so don’t lecture me. I made a mistake. It has been the most humiliating experience in my life. Ive lived with my parents without a drivers license or a job for a year. I just want to move on and put this behind me.
