I had an interview yesterday and after sending a follow-up email found an error. Can you please read, let me know if you see it, and how bad you feel it is. I proofread the email 4 times before sending it and did not see it until reading it again, after I sent it.

Here is the email with company changed:

I wanted to thank you for meeting with me today. I enjoyed speaking with you about the financial analyst position, as well as about ABC, Inc in general. I feel that my overall business background, as well my academic experiences have provided me the skills necessary to not only produce the required reports, but more importantly analyze what the numbers are saying.

I am excited about the possibility of working in the dynamic environment that is provided at ABC, Inc, and supporting you and the rest of the financial team. I look forward to speaking with you again and should you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me.

…business background, as well AS my…. right? If that is the error, I would not panic, I think misspelling words is far worse.

BEC: 5/21/14 82! PASSED HALF WAY THERE!
    FAR: 4/2/15 80! Almost there!
    AUD: 69, 74, 4/3/14 81! PASSED
    REG: TBD

Is this the error?: “have provided me (with) the skills”

Aside from some commas “but more importantly(,) analyze” …. “have any questions(,) do not hesitate” … it was fine.

I tried to read it/scan it quickly like a potential employer would and didn't catch the (with) error until I slowed down and re-read it.

    I wouldn't worry about it.

The as well (as) is the error I was thinking of. I must have just automatically read the second “as” in my head each time I proofread. Hopefully the interviewer reads it quickly.

I didn't see it until you mentioned it. That e-mail will probably only be open for about 4 seconds before they send a quick reply or delete it. I wouldn't worry.

Did not catch anything. I am sure the employers read through these emails at a fast pace and don't spend too much time going over the grammar. Unless it was something too obvious, which there isn't, I would not worry at all!!!
