Do you answer voluntary self-identification questions on applications?

    For example:

    Race
    Disability
    Veteran
    Sex

…etc.? Do you think it hurts your chances if you choose a certain option or “I prefer not to answer”?

I don't answer them. I don't think its considered during hiring anyway (unless its a discriminatory employer who doesn't hire with disabilities, etc). Its really only there so if they were ever sued for discrimination they can demonstrate that the employee never self identified as x,y or z or that they've hired others with the same self identification.
