Do internship hours count towards CPA licensure? - Page 2

    I just had a someone tell me last week that internship hours would not count toward licensure. I interned for a public accounting firm in Audit for 10 weeks, and I was hoping that at least SOME of the hours I worked there would count. Anyone with any knowledge on this? Thanks.

    A-84 NOV 2012
    R-90 JAN 2013
    F-89 AUG 2012
    Ethics-92 (3rd try)

    I'm in PA too. I know that you can start accumulating hours before you pass the exam, but I'm not sure about the part time hours and how that works.

    @clarissa Thanks! I was hoping they didn't start accumulating until AFTER you pass the exam. It's been taking me forever to get those last two sections passed so I'm really hoping to be a CPA in September and not have to wait until almost 2015 to get those initials!
