Dear all:

Crowe Horwath invited me to a dinner and office visit after a great first round interview for a fulltime staff accountant. Have any of you guys attended such events with Crowe? I’m really excited, yet nervous, as this is my first time getting this far in the recruitment process. Any idea as to what I should expect and how I should prepare?

Their normal process is to get you wasted during dinner and peer pressure you into dancing on the bar while you pass out competitor marketing materials. Or was it PwC that does that? I always forget…

Back when I interviewed, I attended a similar event with a large regional firm. It was your normal second round office interviews where I talked to Partners and Senior Managers/Managers. I was then taken out to dinner by one of the partners and a Senior Manager. The first portion was your normal interview process. The second portion at dinner was a simple “beer test” so they could get a feel if I would fit in with their office culture.
