Does anyone recommend a good website for a cover letter example/template?

I am rusty and haven’t job searched in a while. I need to write a cover letter for an entry-level public audit position. All these years, I’ve been working in private tax.

I know I can google it, but there’s so many options to choose from! Plus, I really trust and appreciate input from people on this forum. Thanks guys!

I have a general “framework” I use. Basically a brief introductory paragraph that explains that I am applying for whatever position and that I would like to take the opportunity to highlight some of my qualifications. One body paragraph I dedicate to my education and cpa exam credentials and another I use for my work experience. With the work experience, I give examples of things I have done and how it would benefit the position I am applying to or the firm (per the job ad/posting). I may use more than one paragraph here because I have various skills, but try to be concise. Then I finish it off with a fairly generic conclusion.

Try to incorporate as much as you can about the job you are applying to into your cover letter. It is a chore to write and there is a huge possibility it doesn't even get read, but on the chance that it is valued by the organization you really want to have a genuine cover letter that represents you.
