I’m finishing my degree by telecommuting, so I can’t go to my school’s career fair to meet the recruiters that go and none of the local schools will let a non-student in. My resume seems to be disappearing into a black hole when I just apply online, and everything I’ve read says you have a better chance at getting on if you talk to a recruiter.
I have the contact information for several of the local recruiters, but I’m not sure if I should contact them directly. Is that okay? Is it considered persistent or just pushy/rude?
