My first firm right out of school did. They were a smaller firm too, 20 employees. After that the next job interview didn't ask for it.

2 accounting 1 finance. one of them I gut a f because I took it in summer and I took too many classes and worked. I failed the other because I was disorganized.

I failed my finance class because my paper was late and professor did not accept it

My only two C's ever were in Financial accounting I & II. They asked me why I got the grades I did, I explained I was working partime, taking 18-20 units and was president of a scholar club. I think as long as you explain them they won't matter.

should I forget about the big four and not apply

I don't have experience applying for big 4, there weren't any in area and was never a goal of mine. I say try and see what happens as long as you are prepared to answer the questions about the grades.
