Hi all,
I currently work in public accounting as a senior audit associate and have been in public for just over 4 years. Recently passed the CPA exam and there are opportunities to make manager in the near future.
I was recently approached about an opportunity at a large publicly traded bank as a senior SEC Reporting Analyst. Based on job description, appears the position is in charge of filing all SEC reports and researching GAAP. Beings that I don’t have any experience with SEC reporting, I figured Another71 is the place to go.
I imagine this would be a good opportunity as you would work closely with Controller and CFO. What is your thoughts on the SEC side of it? Would it be fun/interesting, or would it be somewhat miserable?
Look forward to hearing some responses. Thank you all in advance.
