Question:

My Alma Mater has a small career fair with only one or two local public accounting firms that rarely hire anyone. I’m thinking of going to another University’s career fair about two hours away with all the Big 4 and other national and regional public accounting firms. Has anyone ever done this? Would they look at me as a weirdo? Lol.. I’m technically an alumnus of this university since I went there for two semesters..

If they'll let you in the door, do it! I considered trying this for a school I never attended lol, but ended up worming my way into Big4 interviews by other means and didn't have to try it lol

anyone else? I contacted the other university and they told me that this is only for current students and alumni, but I'm sure I can get in with my university ID since I'm still able to access my e-mail, etc….I'm just worried that recruiters will think I'm a retard and just ignore me and throw my resume in the shit pile for this reason…
