He y’all, so here’s my situation:
I’ve finally passed all four exams, yea!!!
But I’ve been out of the field for two years (had a couple kids and waited tables at night to stay home with them during the day).
Now I’m ready to look for a job and I’m not having much luck as far as responding to ads I’ve seen on Craigslist. I’m thinking my next step is to approach the CPA firms in my town. My resume is looking pretty good and polished, but I’m not sure what my cover letter should say, I’m thinking the structure would be a bit different than a typical cover letter.
Any advice from folks who’ve had luck finding jobs?
