I’m looking for some advice on the best GAAP research tool out there. There are books available, but there are also some different online subscription style research tools. Books are cheaper, but online resources seem to offer more (but they are much more expensive).

I work for a private equity group/private industry, and there are 2 people in the office that need access. Anyone with suggestions for GAAP research tool?

Thanks. The FASB free version has limited functionality. We were looking for something with more features. Does anyone have any experience with Thomson Reuters Checkpoint Catalyst?
