I know a lot of people are busy and it can be tough to get on their calendar (i.e. no time to interview), but who knows? You may get lucky and find a partner that had half their staff shit the bed.

If you strike out, the Fall is a great time to find a job. Firms generally have their budgets and resource demands hashed out and they have time to train before busy season.
