Anyone here in Transaction Services for public accounting

    Just want to know if anyone on the forum is in the TAS or Transaction services advisory line and what they think of it. I’m interested in trying to get into this side of public accounting eventually. I’ll be starting in Normal advisory (IT + Internal Control) with some audit engagements to get the experience for my CPA license but I’m hoping to try and get into the transaction side. Thoughts, comments, experiences, tips?

    Your best is to get into Assurance, and then network your way in through contacts at the firm and good performance reviews.
