Any CPAs in here operating your own small firm? How did you get started? What kind of prior experience did you have? Do you do many audits in addition to tax? How many employees do you have?

I was discussing this with a friend the other day who is also trying to finish up with her CPA and we were trying to gauge just how much work goes into having your own firm.
