I was let go by a regional CPA firm. Another guy was let go on the same day. The firm said due to performance but I received positive feedback prior to the termination. I talked to my former coach a week after I got fired, he didn’t really agree with an office manager (he is a partner and moved to our office several months ago and made changes in the office). My former coach said sorry it was business! I knew it was not his decision. He is a manager not a partner. I am looking for a job and have talked to recuiters at Robert Half. They think I’ll be a good fit for a finance&accounting consultant.
I dont have any experience with consulting. I have 2.5yrs in dustry and almost 2yrs in public accounting and CPA.
I have applied jobs and herad back from 2companies. One rejected because not enough experience. The other company set up a phone screening last week and have not heard back yet. I need advices wheather you have worked for Robert Half or got let go by CPA firms. Did you fine a permanent job? How long did it take?
