I seen few people around here that are from PA. Anyone from the Pittsburgh area? If so, I could really use some advice on finding a job, or even if you just want to share your story, that would be great too.

I have officially passed all 4 sections of the CPA, but don’t want to celebrate prematurely because I still have to fulfill PA’s hefty experience requirement. I changed careers into accounting by getting a masters degree in it. Unfortunately it turns out that most firms and corporations in the area recruit directly from colleges, but my college doesn’t really have a career development office to help me out at all. I’m starting to worry that I will have put all this work into passing the exam and never be able to a job that will count toward the license.

I keep telling myself that I should hang tight until after April when firms might start hiring again. What do you think?
