Fellow Ninjas,
I hoping to get some assistance. Due to the excessively long wait for Q2 exams scores I have had to find creative ways to keep my mind occupied. Recently I have become really interested in VBA programming, which has led to me creating a project for myself to automate some processes at work. The controller really likes the plan that I have laid out for the projects that I want to complete which is good. The bad thing is that I do not have an IT background and sometimes get overwhelmed searching the internet for sources.

Can someone share with me any resources around how to get started and create my own learning plan? I have subscribed to few video feeds on Youtube Wiseowl and Excel Campus, but I am interested in something that ties all of it together. Fingers crossed after the Aug score release I can start moving my career more in a technical direction.

I can't help you, but I think that's a great idea. My former boss was awesome with Excel and could program in VBA, so that gave me the same goal as you to learn VBA programming. I think it helps that you have a project in mind. Have you checked out any books? The layout of a good book might point you toward the things you need to learn in order to get your program to work.

I'm in a similar place, except with Excel VBA.I just started learning about it a couple months ago, so I am far from an expert, but it is encouraging how much you can automate daily tasks. I started off by watching some of the YouTube channels below, and then bought some classes on uDemy (which can be had for $10 when on sale) but a lot of them mimic the YouTube channels. The most experience I think I have gained is from creating a small project on my own and Googling almost each line of code, and you eventually you get a feel for the flow of the language. Stack Overflow has also been a huge help, as many people are asking the same beginner questions
