Hi everyone,

I’m not sure if this would be the right forum to post this in, but I was wondering if there was any textbook or book that really bridged the gap between audit theory and practice, and gave a person a pretty good idea of some of the tasks they would be performing on an audit. Perhaps even have in-depth mock audit example of sorts that takes you through a hypothetical audit.

One final question- is there a golden standard auditing textbook? Like I know just like any other university course or subject, there's multiple books covering the same material, but is there one that clearly stands out as the superior product/read?
