So I will graduate next Spring with Masters of Accountancy. I failed 4 interviews for the full time positions so far. I was a tax intern at a regional public accounting firm in Chicago before. Now I am looking for an Audit or Internal Audit in Industry because I realized I hated tax and enjoyed Audit more. So what can I say to convince interviewers that I am serious in Audit and not make them feel like I don’t know what I want? I used to say during my old interviews that I switched to audit because I enjoyed working in teams, did better in my audit class, wanted to utilize my skills such as Database, writing skills, and Statistical skills (all of which are the truth!)

    Any input will be appreciated!
