First post and I’m looking for constructive criticism, so here it goes:
I graduated with a degree in finance and accounting, interned in audit with Big 4, and received an offer that would start in August. I’ve already taken 2 of the exams, but I have highly considered a career in medicine for a long time and I really want to give it a shot while I still can. Unfortunately, this would require me turning down my offer. Although I’m confident in my abilities, many competent career changers fail to get into med school. If this were to happen to me and I choose to go back into accounting, would it still be possible to get an offer with a Big 4 firm (probably a different one)? Any criticism and advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
