Adding new firm/company onto LinkedIn before start date

    Is it okay to add a new company that you are about to work for but haven’t started yet? For example, my start date is November, so my LinkedIn profile I think would automatically say “Starting in November” until my actual start date. I’m just really excited and I want to show everyone.
