    I didn’t know where else to post this question, but here it goes. I’m looking to upgrade to a macbook pro, and I’m wondering if I should go with a 13 inch or 15 inch? I’ve been using a 13in Air for a few years and I really like it – It’s not heavy and it’s portable. However, the screen is a little small for multi-tasking or spreadsheets.

    Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

    Well if you find that the 13 inch screen is a bit small for multitasking then I would go with the 15 inch

    REG - 5/21/2012 - 85
    FAR - 7/24/2012 - 86
    BEC - 8/27/2012 - 85
    AUD - 10/5/2012 - 72....rematch 1/3/13 (waiting)

    I've had two 15's in the last 7 years and would never go smaller. My roommate has a 13 and I feel there is a huge difference. It is SUPER heavy though compared with the Air, I even bought a Kindle Fire for upstairs in my room so I didn't have to lug this around up and downstairs and also when I travel I bring the Fire (less expensive and heavy).

    @samdiegocpa,

    Do you study with the kindle fire? what kind of apps would you need? I agree that it would be a delight to have something small and simple but to too techy.

    It begins with a 75

    I don't – I will look tonight to see if there are any review apps. I found a couple for Droid on my phone, though!

    I won a free Roger app for FAR for my phone, which was awesome. Could do MCQ whenever I wanted to. I can't afford buying the other three though.

    Thanks for all of the responses. I'd love to have all of the upgrades the mbp 15 offers, but just not crazy about the weight factor. I've had heavy 15's in the past, and I loved the light weight of the air when I got it. mbp 15 is a lot of bank… but I'd like to get something I could use for both work (spreadsheets, MS office, etc) and play and keep it for several years.

    I would think having something else small to carry around for light use like a kindle fire or a mini would be awesome.

    I know the ninja flashcards can be used on app devices, and I've found the flashcards to be helpful so far. I'd like to know about any other apps out there for MCQ. I couldn't afford Roger right now either.

    I'd go 13 inch and get the connectors to use an external display. It allows you to maintain the portability of a laptop and still be able to multitask when necessary
