I will be starting at big4 soon and I wanted to know what kind of bag will be okay for work. I know a laptop will be required everyday,so is it okay if I carry a backpack to work? or should I get a messenger bag?

It doesn't matter what bag you use! I always had a gym bag, a tote and my computer bag–I was such a bag lady. And no, you only wear suits if your client wears suits. I had one client that did so I wore suits everyday a few months out of the year.

as rachenyc said, wearing suits will depend on the client i.e if it is a suit and tie client then you would follow…. Most times it is business casual.

I once saw an auditor stick his laptop in one of those $1 Wal-Mart bags…lol…The funny thing is that I'm serious..hahaha
