Hello All,

I will be starting as a FSO Assurance Staff position this October in NY. I was asked what sector I preferred, and after doing some research it looks like I would like to go into the Asset Management sector. Can anyone give me any insight with this sector? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You don't have to state a sector preference. I think most do not.

What led you to choose the Asset Management sector?

I was asked to state a sector preference, but it doesn't mean I will be able to work in that sector. I chose Asset Management because it looks like an interesting sector to work with P/E H/F clients and for the exit opps. I didn't want to work with insurance clients, but I wouldn't mind the BCM sector either.
