    Hello Guys,

I’m going to an on-site interview with one of Big 4s for a taxation position.

I have been in public accounting for 3 years, and got my CPA this year.

I only have experience with small firms. The one that I am currently working has only 9 people including partners.

What are my chances of getting hired?

Is there anything I should pay attention to during the interview?

    Thanks a lot!!!

If your scheduled for an interview already, then there must be something they like about you already! The key thing I would pay attention to expressing in your interview is the “why” do you want to move from a small firm of 9 people to a larger Big 4 firm? What would it allow you to do? Would you have greater resources? Has it always been a dream of yours to work for a large firm? Really show that you have the “passion and desire” to work at the firm. If you know who your meeting with, Google them, review their LinkedIn profile. Learn as much as you can about the people you are speaking with and what is impacting them today. What's everyone's favorite topic? Themselves! Just be sure to not make the interview all about you. 🙂 The best you you can be is you. Visualize yourself walking into the interview and nailing it. Believe in yourself and the rest will fall into place.

This all comes from someone who went to a non-target Big 4 school and worked for three out of the four Big 4.
