So it was a Deloitte recruiter that contacted me for a phone screening on the 18th of the month … I was the one that called her actually after she left me a voice mail … It was not the best time to call her since she had to call someone after 6 minutes from my call ! anyways …

she informed me that she will contact me within two weeks … I sent a thank you letter and she was on a PTO leave last week …

Do u think i should call her ? how can i remind her of myself … ? 🙂 . Its really an opportunity i dont want to mess up !

If she said on the 18th that she would contact you within two weeks, I would wait until early next week before contacting her again. When you call just say essentially what you did here – that you talked with her a couple weeks ago and were hoping to hear back.

Actually yeah, I had to call recruiters to follow up for both KPMG and a mid-market firm, and I ended up getting interviews with both. Recruiters can be just as busy as auditors! You want to look interested and dedicated, without annoying them by calling too often.

I'm to the point with my studying where it's just stressing me out more. I'll either pass REG today or I won't. I'm not learning anything new. Oh, and I'm totally psyched today because I got a full-time offer with a local firm, so that's made it hard to cram. Good luck with your recruitment as well!

Update : they replied to the thank you letter ! Still undecided if they wanted to go forward in the interview process … the recruiting managers have not made a decision. … Shall i reply ? I guess i should … HELP ? 😀

@FindaJob yeah I would reply and reaffirm your interest in the firm and maybe briefly describe how you fit the kind of person they're looking for, especially if you didn't do that in your thank-you email. Not sure if the recruiting managers would see the email anyway, but it couldn't hurt.

IDK about my REG exam. Could go either way. Just like pretty much everyone on here, some of the sims I got were insane.

A score anywhere from 65-80 wouldnt surprise me. Gonna be a stressful week and a half.
