Questions about Big 4 Training

I got an email from my Big 4 company today, telling me that I would be attending training after orientation and asking me if I would like to drive or take the train to training. Two questions:

    1) What’s the difference between orientation and training? Does orientation just take place at your office?

    2) How long does training take, and if it’s more than one day, do they put you up in a hotel? If I’m going to be in a hotel, I might as well just take the train and not have to worry about parking.

    Thanks!

Orientation: Welcome, here's how to use our web portal, access pay, scheduling, etc.

Training: Here's how we do Audit, etc.

Depending on your class size, ie: here in SF orientation it is done at the office, but in smaller areas they may merge orientations from smaller offices. I would inquire about the training, most firms have a policy on whether they put you in a hotel, ie: distance to the training. So you might want to email them and figure that out
