I got an offer from PwC and I start this January (in more than 3 month).

From now on, every week I receive communications from PwC about their firm, culture etc… general stuff. However, I was never asked to fill out any forms for a background check. I also never filled out anything related to my preferred industries…. Is that normal? Should I be concerned?

    Thanks,

    REG - 80
    ETHICS - 100

I didn't get the chance today…work is busy

But the CFO where I work now informed me today that he worked at PwC (Pricewaterhouse) prior to the merger…I think this may have something to do with the guidance that I received?? (Does not sound likely but idk my best guess yet)

I will call them on Monday and let you know what they say 🙂

@Topsya – Sorry for taking so long to write back! They said it was a guidance and it will not affect the hiring decision. It had to do with the firm that audits the company I work for. They are affiliated with PwC.

Excited to start? Jan. is coming so fast 🙂

    @ Topsya – Thanks 🙂

Lol I am excited to start too, but I wish I had passed some exams prior to starting!

Greate scores! Which review did you use?

Which division did you select (FS or Non-FS)? I just received an email stating that I will be joining their Banking & Capital Markets team.

I picked FS though. But we will see where I end up 🙂

I used Yeager (Wiley) for my review. It worked great for me!

Hi, I was wondering what did PwC look for in your background check? Do they call past employers and references?

    Thanks!
