Question for employees of PwC, do you know which industries in assurance typically travel the most? I have spoken with a few friends who work there, and I hear retail industry travels a lot. I am particularly interested in the technology industry, and was going to mention that when applying. I don’t mind travel at all, but I don’t want to be out of the office 75% of the time.

The only position I ever talked to PwC about was doing audit for defense contractors (similar to a DCAA audit). Would have had to be in CT Monday-Thursday every week so I had to decline the interview.

Just as a data point, the people I know in the NYC office, in the FS/Asset Mgt LoS, travel very little usually (once a year to Boston, a few times to Greenwich).
