Big 4 Office visit result – waiting

I had an office visit with one of Big 4 last Tuesday. Three interviews, office tour and lunch. I still haven’t heard back from them the result, so does it mean that I’m on the waiting list? Will they reject someone by not telling them at all? I’m totally frustrated at this point. What can I do? Call recruiters? It’s been more than a week. From what I heard, they made decisions pretty quickly. What’s the chance of getting in from waiting list?

I dont think it would be out of place to email recruiting as its been a week, as you eluded to, you are probably in a maybe bucket; they generally make initial offers and rejections fairly quickly.

So it's ok to email them to re-emphasize my interest in this position? I saw from elsewhere that they don't like it because they may think you are desperate and impatient. But some also say that emailing them again shows that you are really interested in the position. struggled between the two

Its for winter or summer? Winter hired usually get the contact more quickly. But u should ask them for feedback. Usually if they dont reach you in a week, you should follow up with an email.

it's for summer/fall 2015 full-time position. Shall I also email my interviewers, the tax partners? They didn't reply to my thank-you emails. Could it be a bad sign that they don't like me?

if its summer then they may not reach you as faster as to winter. Of course u can imagine the winter start date is next month and they should speed up the offer process. I will suggest you contact the recruiter first, especially the one who gives the email about super day/office visit; u definitely can talk to the partner but u should try to hide ur intention. u can ask about the interview and how s/he thinks of u (try to bring something unique to awake his/her memory about u). Also not responding the thank-you mail is common. but if they decide to take u on board, they may respond (only after the offer is given).

Thanks @cycgundam, I got kinda worried when waiting for this long and they don't reply to my thank-you letters. Everyday I'm hoping that I receive call that day and every end of day I'm hoping that I receive call the next day
