I didn’t come across a thread on this, but I know some people are always curious about where they’ll be training (I know I was). Feel free to add any additional information you have!

Deloitte: Their DU facility in Westlake, Texas (near Dallas)

PwC: Not sure…I’ve heard they do regional training (i.e., employees in the Midwest go to Chicago)

Ernst & Young: No idea

KPMG: Advisory training was in Atlanta, Tax training will be in Orlando, no idea about Audit (also not sure if these change from year to year)

McGladrey does training in Chicago (and by “Chicago,” they mean an hour outside Chicago, so going out for drinks and coming back at 2am on a party bus isn't SUCH a great idea.. but still fun).

My friend started EY tax in July and she went to Chicago for training. Different friend started KPMG audit in August and trained in Orlando.

@neika822 Haha did they have training at their Schaumburg location? Interesting that they wouldn't hold it at their headquarters in downtown Chicago.

@barelystayingsane – no, they hold it at the Q Center! It was an interesting experience… mostly good 🙂

Edit: Which is actually quite funny, since Arthur Andersen owns the Q Center!

Pdub tax internship training was in Chicago.

Haven't heard yet where new-hire training will be– but believe it will be in Los Angeles for Southern California. (tax)
