Does anyone know on average how long it takes for someone to go through the interview process at KPMG if they were referred by an internal executive?

Not sure about being referred by an exec. They probably pushed your resume through quicker or put it into the right hands. I had 2 interviews with kpmg. One regular interview with a partner then an office visit that consisted on 2 interviews with 2 partners followed by lunch. Heard back next morning. From start to finish around 1 month. Just my experience, might be different elsewhere.

Between the first and second interviews I was left with enough time to have 1st/2nd interviews elsewhere and receive offers. lol
