I have been working for nearly 2 years at one of the big 4 firms and I am interested in exploring a few options elsewhere. Is 2 years too soon to leave to enjoy the benefits of working for 1 of the big 4 firms?

I left after two years. But, at the same time, I was working really far from home. Almost a 2 hour drive each way so I think they understood why I left. I couldn't handle the long hours plus 4 hours in traffic (i live in CA). When I was saying farewell to my client, my client decided to hire me on. It was awkward at first, but my client was 10 miles from my house and they matched my pay. I guess it depends on the circumstances. But, I got my audit hours at least 🙂

I totally agree with bobkorz. Looking for suitable employment while unemployed sucks!
