I applied to a Big Four and under HR status of my profile log-in, it says “Initial Interest”. Anyone have an idea of what this means?

I have no idea, but I would assume that it means they were interested in you from reviewing your application / resume. From reading other forums, some people get a blunt ‘not selected'.
