    Hey guys,

I was hired with the big four in New York for a full time audit position without doing any internship and I don’t start until January, but my firm wants me to work a meet the firms event at my alma mater. Any advice what I should talk about with the students? At this point, I’m not even sure what I do at big four as far as work goes except for knowing the general group I’m in.

I’m worried that the students will think that it was a waste of time talking to me once they find out I have zero experience.

    Thanks!

I just want to know how did you get the job with no experience and what state are you from?

I wouldn't worry about that. Just give good, honest advice. The students should appreciate that. I know when I attend those events as a student, I always appreciate it when someone takes the time to tell me about how they got their foot in the door. The students will probably relate better to you anyway. Also, doing these types of events for the firm really makes you look good.

You can probably give better advice (on how to get hired and the interview process) than anyone else who will be working the event.
