-Check your state board for CPA license/exam questions

-Big 4 recruit 90% from universities. I'd do a search on this forum for “Big 4”. You'll find many similar posts. Sorry, but rehashing the same thing over and over gets old after a while. Besides, everything you need to know is already in this forum. If you have more specific questions, then ask away.

-Overseas audit/account experience will help. Just make sure your social skills and command of the English language are good. To be brutally honest, reading your thread, the way it's structured, would make me not want to hire you. I'm not perfect either, but it seems to me like you might need to focus on that quite a bit. Seniors have to teach audit staff enough without having to worry about very basic writing skills. Not trying to be harsh, but I've seen too many foreign candidates get passed over because of language difficulties.

    -Network, network, network.

I agree with Mayo- I work for a big4 firm and we do heavily recruit through the universities but do have other ways to get noticed. We have a referral program for current employees to help out any friends that are interested in becoming a member of our community. There are also connections you can make through other companies which network with/ through the big4s. As Mayo mentioned, simply gett your name out there as much as you can!

The CPA review course that I use also has a strong international community/ following that may be able to give you additional catered help for your specific situation. It may be worth a shot to put the question out there!

The CPA course is Roger CPA.

As we have both mentioned- Network! Network! Network! This will be the best door that you open. J Good luck!
