I had a phone interview with a big4 last Friday and the HR recruiter said I should get a response back in the following week or two weeks after , she advised that I update my profile with my transcript. On Monday, I sent an email to her stating that I had updated my profile and she replied acknowledging that she saw my updated profile and that she would keep in touch and get back before thanksgiving or after. How long does it take to get a response back after a phone interview? I don’t want to raise my hope but I also feel that if she doesn’t want to move further with the process, she would have informed me in her mail on Monday or even yesterday. What do you guys think? I once had an interview with KPMG about 18 months ago and I got the rejection mail the following morning after the phone interview. Though this is another firm (PwC), I just hope I get a feedback today. Waiting till after thanksgiving is quite long… I just want to get over this suspense.

No rejection is a hope. I did the phone interview on Mon and got a super day invitation on Wed. It really depends. Keep waiting and don't forget to follow up after a week.

Thanks guys. Today is the fourth day but she said she will get in touch with me before thanksgiving or after. Am just confused as to what to think. Is there hope I get the office invite or not? Of course you still have a chance at an office interview. It's thanksgiving time. I'd give it another 2 weeks before I'd start thinking I didn't make it.
