I had a in office Big 4 campus recruiting interview on 8/21/2014 where I was interviewed by 3 individuals. From your experience, when do you think I can expect to hear back from them?

Brief overview of study method:
1. Skim through chapter quickly
2. Watch lecture videos
3. Take a lot of notes on what the lecturers emphasize
4. Complete half HW after lectures half after rewriting notes

I have bad news guys. I just received a call from the Big 4 and they told me they will not be able to extend an offer to me. Is this normal? Do they call to reject you? I thought rejections were done through email.

I heard back 1 hr after my interview. If you are not the first choice and someone declines, could be a week.

Moral of the story, don't do your CPA while working in Big 4 Public Accounting.
